IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

DO YOU HAVE OPTIONS FOR ALLERGIES / SPECIAL DIETS?

The Food Department has 14 foodstands with a large variety of food and several diet options like; vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose free. Please inform our chefs if you have specific allergies. Here is a list of our bars and stands and their diet options. We also have a wide range of special drinks to suit many diets.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A RESERVATION FOR A LARGE GROUP / THROW A PARTY AT THE FOOD DEPARTMENT?

Yes, it is possible to throw a party at The Food Department under certain circumstances. Please get in touch via events@thefooddepartment.nl.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PAY WITH CARD?

Yes, we have a prefernce for card payment: debit- and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard).

ARE THERE ANY JOB VACANCIES AT THE FOOD DEPARTMENT?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ORGANISE AN EVENT AT THE FOOD DEPARTMENT?

Yes, TFD has some brilliant spots for your event. Please get in touch via events@thefooddepartment.nl.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE FOOD DELIVERED?

Food delivery is available via partner apps such as: Thuisbezorgd, UberEats and Deliveroo. You can check stand pages for more info.

DO YOU HAVE A LOST AND FOUND?

If you lost an object please send an email to [email protected]. If you find an object please give it to our bartenders at the main bar. After 14 days we’ll bring the objects to the official Lost & Found depot of the city of Amsterdam.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Pets are allowed access to The Food Department, but only on a leash.

ARE YOU CLOSED ON HOLIDAYS?

We are open almost every holiday, except Kingsday and the first day of Christmas, the 25th of December.

IS THE FOOD DEPARTMENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, we’re wheelchair friendly. There is an elevator for wheelchairs and strollers at the entrance.

At The Food Department we go by the following rules:

Order food at any of our 14 stands

You only live once, why stop at one dish? We have 14 stands! Don’t look back and think “I could’ve eaten that”.

Get your drinks at one of our 2 bars

Having delicious food? Get delicious drinks at our 2 bars as well! Lost your friends? They are probably getting another drink at our bars.

Free to sit anywhere

It’s too many rules to follow, so we have none for sitting! That’s right, you can take any of our food to any table 😉 Just pick a spot and order via QR code on your table!

Throw waste into one of the many trash cans

If we made you smile, please make us smile too by placing trash into the trash cans.
