A concept that was yet to become known in The Netherlands, but was already booming in LA: the sushi burrito and poké bowl. Sushito was founded 4 years ago by Sven Komijn and Steven den Heeten. While studying, Steven and Sven already had the vision to become an entrepreneur one day. They remained ambitious and it took a while before they found the perfect location for their dream restaurant.

After some time, there was a spot available in De Pijp and things started to move quickly. After just two weeks the team had to be expanded. Not long after, Sushito opened its second business in West. The focus was mainly on maintaining the original concept in each restaurant. In April last year Sushito established itself in The Food Department. Sushito also gained a lot of popularity on Ubereats. Mainly because their meals work well for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The price-quality ratio is perfect and their meals are full of fresh ingredients. You can enjoy a delicious dinner for two in the comfort of your own home for just 25 euros!

So… which burrito are you going to try first? Or perhaps one of their famous poké bowls? Sven recommends the Spicy Tuna Burrito, his favourite. The combination of a delicious spicy sauce and the soft avocado go hand in hand. Another best-seller is the Greenere Bowl: a classic poké bowl with salmon, avocado, edamame and more yummy ingredients.
